Ms. Colaneri has practiced exclusively in the field of insurance defense since her graduation from the University of Arkansas Law School in 1984. She comes from a legal heritage as the daughter of Judge Rockwell D. Colaneri of the District Court of New York. A native New Yorker, she was born in Port Jefferson, a small harbor town on Long Island.
In 2016, Ms. Colaneri earned her LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Colaneri's area of expertise is litigation with emphasis in fraud-related matters, major property losses (homeowner and commercial policies), casualty losses, and first party claims including claims involving statutory and code violations. An attorney who remains abreast of all changes and developments in insurance law, Ms. Colaneri has acquired expertise in handling unique cases while litigating practically every term, condition and requirement of the Texas standard homeowners and auto liability policies. She enjoys a 90% win/loss ratio in her jury trial experience. Ms. Colaneri is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law. She is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation, the Tarrant County Bar Foundation, College of the State Bar of Texas, and was recently inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocacy. She is a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated attorney and has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters Service from 2003 to 2014. Ms. Colaneri is licensed to practice law in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Ms. Reid runs a strong litigation-focused practice mainly revolving around helping clients in commercial litigation and personal injury defense. She also readily deals with probate matters, and represents clients in those related proceedings.
Ms. Reid grew up in Arlington, Texas, and graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a minor in Marketing while also competing as a Division I Women’s Basketball student-athlete. After departing New Orleans, Ms. Reid headed west and earned her law degree at Texas Tech University in 2014. While at Texas Tech Ms. Reid was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review where she served as a member of the Executive Board of Editors and was Volume 46 Symposium Editor. Ms. Reid’s law school experience included a position as a law clerk for the Honorable Bonnie Sudderth, 352nd District Court, Tarrant County. In 2019 and 2020, Ms. Reid was recognized by 360 West Magazine as Top Attorney. Ms. Reid was also identified as a Texas Super Lawyer and Rising Star in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Mr. Marsden has practiced is several different fields of law from contract negotiations; contract drafting, real estate negotiations, real estate purchase and closings, corporate contract and compliance work; business collections; commercial and business litigation, and Insurance Defense including DTPA litigation. For the past 10 years, Mr. Marsden has practiced almost exclusively in the field of insurance defense and commercial and business litigation. Mr. Marsden is also a court appointed mediator.
Mr. Marsden graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. After his undergraduate education, Mr. Marsden attended Texas Tech University earning a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and his law degree in 1991. Mr. Marsden is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Tarrant County Bar association. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court of Texas – Northern and Western Districts.
Ms. Lewiecki has been licensed to practice since 1998. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Texas Christian University in 1989 and her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1995. After graduating from law school Ms. Lewiecki began practicing as a staff counsel attorney for Allstate Insurance Company in Dallas, Texas. While at Allstate she was chosen Outstanding Staff Counsel Attorney for the state of Texas for the year 2002. After leaving Allstate she has remained exclusively in the practice of insurance defense with Farmers Insurance Company and The Colaneri Firm. She has tried over well over a hundred cases to verdict.
Ms. Lewiecki has served as a Court appointed Guardian Ad Litem for over 20 years and has completed 40 hours of training as an attorney-mediator and is qualified to conduct court appointed mediations.
